“An apple bake a week keeps the doctor away in the fall months”-Says me :) I love when apple season comes each year. My parent’s grow apples and nothing beats going down their hill and picking a bunch of them. A few fun facts about apples:

Slice up the apples thinly Throw the lemon juice over the apples so they don’t oxidize In deep cast iron skillet heat up coconut oil and butter Add apples, pumpkin pie spice, walnuts, cinnamon, maple syrup, manna, and ¼ cup lakanto monk fruit Mix well Don’t let the apples burn- lower heat is better Make Topping:
After the apples are softened, you’ll empty it into a pie or Pyrex square container-add the topping. Place it in the oven at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes. I like to top it with either coconut whipped topping or a dairy free low sugar ice cream
